OuterSignal uses your company's customer data solely to provide services to you — enriching your customer profiles so your team can act on them. Specifically:
• Your data is never sold.
• Your data is never pooled with, or shared with, other OuterSignal customers.
• Your data is never used to train AI models.
How AI Is Used
Our analysis is fully agentic, which means AI models process your customer data as part of enriching it. Your data is used to produce your results and is not used for training by those providers.
Data Security Measures
• Encryption: Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest to prevent unauthorized access.
• Data Isolation: Each customer's data is isolated at the database level, so queries are scoped exclusively to your organization. Your data is never visible to another OuterSignal customer.
• Secure Hosting: Your data is stored in secure data centers located in the United States.
Are You a Data Broker?
No. OuterSignal is not a data broker and does not maintain data to sell or share. We operate as a processor: we conduct research on publicly available information on your behalf, and return the results to you.
Where Your Enrichment Data Comes From
OuterSignal draws on a broad set of publicly available sources across the internet — public records, business websites, social media, and similar. New sources become available constantly, so there is no fixed list. See Where does your data come from? for more.
