Filtering Your Signal Feed by UTM Parameters

You can now filter the Signal Feed using UTM attribution data from the time of customer acquisition — specifically:

  • Acquisition Source (UTM) — filters by utm_source (e.g. facebook, klaviyo, google)

  • Acquisition Campaign (UTM) — filters by utm_campaign (e.g. bfcm_2024, vip_reactivation)

How to Use

  1. In the Signal Feed, open Filter Rules and add a new rule.

  2. Set the filter type to Signal Criteria.

  3. Under the Marketing category, select Acquisition Source (UTM) or Acquisition Campaign (UTM).

  4. Choose is one of and enter the UTM values you want to filter by.

These filters can be combined with other Signal Criteria — persona, purchase behavior, demographics — using AND logic.

A Note on Data

UTM filters only work for customers whose acquisition session included UTM parameters. If no UTM was present at time of purchase, the customer won't have a value for these fields. This data is being pulled in from Shopify.
